The Bomber Wrestling Season is in its 40th year. The program was started by the late Joe Burvan in 1969. Come see this exciting sport, as the RCHS Bombers grapplers compete this season against many of the State's top teams. Coaches in their 2nd season are Brad Burvan and Scott Lucero. Last season Burvan and Lucero guided 5 Bomber wrestlers out of Sectional competition. In the Logansport Regional competition, 3 grapplers placed well enough to advance to the Semi-State Tournament. Bomber Wrestler Randy Kaufman finished runner-up at the Merrillville Semi-State and received his bid to wrestler for the Indiana State Championships, where he finished 8th overall in the 189 LBS class.
