The Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP) through its Department of Student Programs is proud to present the Rising Stars of Indiana Class of 2026. Each Indiana high school was invited to recognize up to four students currently in 11th grade, based on their academic achievement. The following RCHS Juniors pictured below with Mr. Jones were recognized as Class of 2026 Rising Stars of Indiana:  Emily Louck, Abigail Jordan, Aubry Kurek and Clayton Cummings. Congratulations to these students on all of their achievements. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for them at RCHS and beyond!

Congratulations to Hunter LaCosse!  He was chosen to receive the RCHS DAR Good Citizen Award based on his ability to demonstrate dependability, service, leadership and patriotism. We are so proud of you Hunter! Hunter is pictured with Rhonda Kennedy, a member of Rensselaer’s local DAR Chapter, and Mr. Jones.

Congratulations to the following students for being named 2024-2025 Rural and Small-Town Scholars, National Hispanic Scholars or First-Generation Scholars through the College Board National Recognition Program. Pictured (L-R) Mr. Jones, Principal, Annalise Yeager, Abby Jordan, Aubry Kurek, Brooklyn Nagel, Maggie Hayes, Maggie Hooker and Clayton Cummings. These students were selected from a competitive, nationwide field of students. We are extremely proud of them and all of their hard work that has led to this academic achievement.
